Vegas Baby!!

So the week before Christmas me and Ty decided to take a little vacation to Vegas!! I wasn't sure how much fun we would really have since we don't gamble, drink, or do any of those wild Vegas things... But let me tell you... WE HAD A BLAST!! So we drove there all day on thursday the 15th and the drive was actually pretty enjoyable! We made up words to songs, ate lots of treats, stopped and saw my cute sister JoDeeann, and just played car games! That night we stayed in Vegas at the MGM Grand... Here is a pictures of it:

That night we just kinda toured the strip and ate at Hard Rock Cafe...Pretty fun stuff:) Here are some pics of us on the strip and also at the hotel:

Oh and Ty tried on this sweater kind of as a joke because it was like 200 dollars... WOW!!

Friday we shopped a lot and we went to the Jabbawockeez show that night... Then saturday we shopped a lot more and went to the Crique du Soleil show which was AMAZING!! We seriously had a blast! And all of the hotels and everything were decorated for the holidays so it was way cute! Oh and one of the hotels had a huge chocolate fountain that is the biggest one ever!! So that's what the strange looking picture is, and here are some more pics of our trip:

Hope everyone had a great holiday season and I will post about my Christmas soon... I'm just a little behind on that! :)
Have a great day and new year! :)

My best friend's wedding...

So I know it has been a while since I have posted a blog, and a lot has been happening! First things first, My best friend Chelsi got married this last Friday to Jake! It was such a nice wedding and I am so proud of her for choosing to get sealed to Jake in the temple for time and all eternity! Me and Chelsi have been best friends since we were in kindergarten... Then right before 5th grade I moved away from her when I came to Idaho! Every summer she would come up to Idaho and stay with me for a while, and I would try to go down to Utah and stay with her for a while too! She was not a member of my church, but every summer she would come to girl's camp with me and church and stuff! She started to gain her own testimony and was baptized probably about 5 years ago. Her family was not very happy about her decision to be baptized, but eventually they were happy for her and things worked out! Anyways, her mom was a great sport about her getting married in the temple, and it was so wonderful! :) Here are a few pics from outside the temple...

Onto a new topic... A few weeks ago me and Ty went to Jackson, WY. We also stopped by Palisades on the way there cause it was so pretty... And of course we had to go the scenic route through swan valley so that we could get square ice cream cones! Those are some dang yummy things:) haha Then we went out to dinner at the sandpiper in Idaho Falls after our day trip and that was a blast! We went with Austin and Aubree, and with Austin's parents and sister! I really love the Egbert family, they are some of the BEST people I know!! Here are a few pics at palisades dam and in Jackson, and also of Tyler's HUGE steak at sandpiper:) ha

And last but not least... Just a picture of me and my mom at her house the other day!

I seriously love my mom so much and think she is the MOST amazing person ever! She seriously is such a great example and I don't know how anyone could ask for a better mom than her! She is always there when I need her and she has the BEST advice I could ever ask for! She is loving, kind, smart, spiritual, forgiving, and so close to the Lord! She is one person that I know for sure will make it to the Celestial kingdom!! I love you mommy:)

Have a great day everyone! :) And try to stay warm...

Craft Project and More!!

So I am in love with Pinterest as of lately and have found so many cute craft ideas, yummy looking recipes, cute future home ideas, etc that I am dying to do! Me and Aubree made a cute pumpkin Halloween wreath from a post on interest and I love it... It turned out really cute and big:) Here are pics of how to make it and the final product...

So as I have been crafting and working lots, Ty has been doing non-stop homework and studying... This is his life as of lately!!
When he begins his day this is him:

Then I walk in later on and this is him:

But I don't blame him, I would be asleep fast too if this is what I was studying:

He is also taking genetics, physics, a science class, and head and neck anatomy! And on top of all that he is shadowing/volunteering with dentists and trying to get his dental applications looking better and better! So needless to say, he is BUSY and i don't see a lot of him!

Anyways, life is great and I love pinterest (and my husband of course)! ha

Have a great day:)

It is officially winter in Rexburg... Oh dear!

So today I wake up to a freezing cold apartment and look out the window and it is pouring rain! A few minutes later I tell my handsome husband that I think it's snowing and he told me I was wrong! Well what do you know, within an hour the roads and grass were white and there was definite snow! Sad day... I am not a fan of snow, and to tell you the truth, if I had it my way I would be living in AZ with the sun basking on me at this very moment! I would probably even be laying out getting a tan by a pool... But I don't always get things my way, so here I am in Rexburg!

Picture of the snowy grass (And by the way it is like 3 times worse than that now)...

The temperature, and notice under the real temp it says feels like 26!! What?! It is only the first week of October:(

My oh so yummy candy cane hot cocoa that keeps me sane on days like this (which is most days in Idaho)..

And thank goodness for this little space heater in my apartment!! I have had the heater in the apartment on all day, along with this little space heater that I have been curled up in a ball next to as I sip my hot cocoa! What a life, right?! :)

So if anyone loves the cold, Rexburg is the place to move!! And if not, maybe you can join me in Scottsdale someday when I live there and have the warmth and great shopping!! Holla:)

*Side note: I do love Rexburg and Idaho in the summer and I love the people and everything here, just not the cold! So don't think I am a huge complainer because I try to make the best of it! :) haha

Have a great day and stay warm, cuddle up, and get some candy cane hot cocoa!!

Anyways, we did some house sitting the first week of September for our friends and there house is gorgeous! It has a sweet theatre room and everything is so pretty in it! That was fun to do, it totally made me want a house of my own!! Someday that will happen I hope:) Ty says I can have my own house in 10 years... oh dear! :( Here is a pic of the house we house sitted at!

My brother Andy left the MTC yesterday and is now out in the mission field in Brazil!! I am so proud of him and he is doing so great!! Yesterday was also my brother Rusten's b-day... He is so cute and I love him to death! We had a b-day dinner on Sunday night for him and that was fun... Here is him blowing out his candles, he did it so he has a wish to come true soon:)

I can't remember if I mentioned that I got a NEW CAR!! YAY:) I love it... here are some pics:

We had a little girls night a few weeks ago at Aubree's house which was fun.. Here is a pic of us girlies:) We basically danced to the kinect and ate yummy treats and stuff!!

And last but not least is my trip to Utah last weekend!! Very fun... it was for my cousin Krissy's wedding and it was such a cute wedding and reception! I went down there with my mom, Doug, Rusten and me. Ty had to work so he stayed home! But the bad thing was that he worked Friday night shift and slept Saturday day and was supposed to work again Saturday night shift but he never woke up! So I was trying to call him and get him awake for work while I was driving home from Utah! Finally I had a girl from my ward run over to our apartment and knock way loud on the door! He finally woke up and was only an hour late for work, so they weren't mad at him thank goodness:) lol it was funny:) Anyways, here are some pics from the wedding...

These were hung in the trees:

Then this was at the top of the little gazebo thing, I want one for my room:

Centerpieces for the tables...

The gazebo- Me, my mom, and Aunt did all of the bows and ribbon stuff around it!

Anyways, life is great as always and me and Ty are staying incredibly busy!! Ty is doing great in school and I am so proud of his determination and hard work!! I love him to death and couldn't ask for a better, more caring husband! I am so lucky:)

Have a great day and I will post soon! :)
