Girls night out!!

This past week was great! On Tuesday night all of the girls that work in the office at moxie went out to dinner together and it was really fun to be with them all outside of work:) the food was yummy too!! I got a virgin mango margarita, chicken taco salad, and then some of the girls got fried cheesecake!! Yum:)

In 2 weeks we are having a girls night and were going to a painting class and painting a picture! They say its fool proof and that everyone will be able to make their pic look like the one that we chose... I'm excited, it'll be way fun! This is the picture we are going to paint and once I paint mine ill post my very own painting:)

I am still loving North Carolina and don't think I'm gonna ever want to go back to Idaho! The good thing there is my amazing family that I miss lots and lots:) my brother Andy gets home from his mission on Wednesday morning and I won't get to be there, but I'm gonna be face timing as he gets off the plane and everything so I'm excited! I can't believe it's been two years... Time sure does fly! Anyways I hope you enjoy you Sunday:)

Mini golf and yummy food!:)

Last night we went out on a date night with a bunch of our friends to a place called Frankie's. It was a lot of fun. There was a lot to do there like go carting, mini golf, small roller coaster things, arcade games, laser tag, etc. We did mini golfing and it was a blast!! Here are some pics from last night....

Also.... My new friend out here is The Recipe Critic, Alyssa, and she has motivated me to start making yummy meals because she is always making way yummy things! So I have started to try to cook different things than what I am used to and so far most of it has been a success!

And I also made chicken cordon bleu soup the other day and it was SO SO good... I highly recommend it:) but there are a lot more recipes to come that I wanna try out:) so hopefully I will start doing some recipe/how to blogs... We will see though:) ha

Go carting date night!!

So this last weekend we went on a big group date with our friends out here... It was SO much fun:) we went to dinner and go carting!.. 

I love all of our friends out here, they are always up for a party and having a good time:)

Me and Ty also have enjoyed some nice walks in our backyard... It's so pretty here!

A:  Available or married?

Married to the man of my dreams... I'm only available if it's for Bradley Cooper!:) JK

B:  Book?

I love love love to read fiction... I hate to read non-fiction, it bores me! Some of my faves are the hunger games series, the twilight series, and anything by Mary Higgins Clark or Jodi Picoult.

C:  Cake or pie?

It's a tough call, but I would have to say cake. German Chocolate.

D:  Drink of choice?

Water, I'm obsessed!!

E:  Essential item?

iPhone... it is my personal calendar, planner, camera, phone, radio, computer, etc... I basically can't function without it!

F:  Favorite color?

Purple, although I also really love mint and coral. But i'll stick with purple.

Sequence. Wacky Six. Encore. Scattergories. Taboo. And the list goes on and on.... I seriously love games, and would be happy as can be if I could find someone to play with me all of the time. Plus, I always win! ha

Peanut Butter. And Chocolate. I kid you not that I go through a large container of Jif peanut butter every 2 weeks. I eat it by the spoonful. YUM!!

I try to ban myself from PB almost daily, but it never works! NO SELF CONTROL!!

J: Job?

Registered Nurse. Surgical. L&D. Nursery. Love it all!! (And then taking care of husband on the side).

K:  Kids and names?

No kiddos. First girl will be Alice Sophia. First boy will be Remmington.

L:  Life is incomplete without?

My family. Husband, his family, and mine! I could not live without my Tyler, I hate when I don't get to see him for even just one day! He completes me, and I have never loved anyone so much!!

M: Music?

Not country. PLEASE. Husband loves it and I very much don't love it. So it causes fights:)

I do, however, like pretty much all other types of music.

N:  Number of siblings?

Lots. 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 step-brothers, 2 step-sisters. 5 brother in laws, 3 sister in laws. Love having a huge family!! It makes everything more fun, and I love all of them so much!

O:  Oranges or Apples?

Tough call. If it's plain, oranges. If I get to add caramel or peanut butter, apples.

P:  Phobias or fears?

Snakes. Gross slithery reptiles. I hate them so much and never want to see another one again! If I would have created the world, I would have left snakes out.

Q:  Favorite quote?

*You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world... And there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.

I hate to be alone. Ever! Like even grocery shopping. Or at the gym. Or anywhere.

V:  Vegetable you love?

What vegetable don't I love?.. Seriously, veggies are all so yummy! I'd say my favorite is corn on the cob, and peppers.

W:  Worst habit?

It used to be biting my finger nails. Until I broke my front tooth 2 different times doing it. After spending plenty of time and money at the dentist, and embarrassing myself with a broken front tooth, I no longer bite my nails!

X:  Xrays you've had?

Fingers, Toes, Ribs, Teeth. Pretty much have broken all of those things too, except ribs! 

Y: Youth- In what ways are you still a kid at heart?

Roller coasters, amusement parks, go carts, etc. I love it all. And I don't even care if I get hurt, as long as it was worth it on a fun ride. I love that thrill!! Oh and I love cotton candy, and candy in general.

Z:  Zodiac?

Aquarius. Which after reading about means that I am a mysterious and unusual person. That about sums me up. Go zodiac signs!! ha

North Carolina

I got to Raleigh, NC about a week and a half ago... And I LOVE it!! I'm sure the main reason it is so great is because I'm with Tyler, but I love the weather and the prettiness and everything too!!:)

Me and Ty went on a date night on the day I got here to a cute little place called Zoe's Kitchen... It was delicious! It is a health food/semi-vegan place, and so fresh! We also went to Ben and Jerry's and to the movie The Great Gatsby!

This is seriously my apartment pool and where I live!! Holy cow it is so amazing to have sunny warm weather all of the time and laying out by the pool every day!:)

We had a company pool party and it was fun... All of the people out here are so fun and friendly! I love it here!!! 

So that is what my life has consisted of... Lots of sunshine, pool time, and some working:) how does life get better than this?!.. I hope you have a great day!

Visit to Utah

Last week I went to Utah for my sweet uncle Wayne's funeral. It was such a nice service, and he will be so missed! 

This was all of the cousins of mine at my uncles funeral, and also my cute grandma in the middle! It was good to see everyone again! I love my family:)

I also got to see my darling cousin Aly and her little cutie pies:) 

After the funeral, my sister and I went to City Creek Mall in salt lake, and we met up with my sister in law, Mindee, and her cute new baby Navy! It was my first time meeting my new niece, and she is SO cute!!

I love seeing family and spending time with them! I am so grateful for all of my amazing family... And I couldn't have gotten better in-laws either! I'm a lucky girl:)

Memorial Day With The Fam:)

Memorial Day was a very nice day for me! My sister, JoDeeann, was in Idaho visiting. I got to spend a lot of much needed time with her over the weekend, and I enjoyed every minute of it! She is so sweet and I want to learn to be as sweet as her (hard to do, so it may never happen for me!) ha!

But Monday morning my family went up to my dad's grave, as well as my grandpa furrows' grave, and other of our family members who are buried there! It was really nice... Then JoDee, Aubree, Austin, and I went fishing and to Jackson Hole, WY for the day! We had a great time! On our way home we stopped in swan valley and got the famous square ice cream cones! It was the yummiest ice cream ever!! I got cinnamon churro, delicious!!:)
