The best surprise ever!!

July has been such a fun and busy month! It started out with our really great friend's wedding in Greenville. It was beautiful and were so happy for them!! 

Then it was the Fourth of July, and we had a few people over for a pool party/BBQ. That turned out really fun, and that night we went to the beach for the fireworks... Oliver LOVED them! He was so curious and intrigued by the noise and light that they made, it was so cute! 

I helped throw a baby shower for my sweet friend, and it was really fun!

It has been sooooo hot this month, so we have been doing some pool and beach time. Oliver loves it!!!! Also, he has curly hair when it's wet and I'm obsessed with it!! 

Oliver and I also dressed like cows for chickfila dress like a cow day, it was funny! But hey, we got free food out of it:) 

And then the BEST SURPRISE EVER happened to me!!!!! I was thinking I wasn't going to get to see my mom until Christmas when we go home, and I was pretty homesick thinking about that. Well Tyler had been planning with her and my step dad, Doug, to surprise me and they showed up to stay with us!! I was so confused when she showed up, it took me a minute to process what was going on:) we had so much fun, and Oliver loved being with them! Thanks mom and Doug for coming!! 

I didn't remember to take many pictures while they were here cause I was too much in heaven to look at my phone! Ha but we went to a plantation one day and these pics were from there! 

Oliver is almost one, he is going to turn one in about two weeks! I still can't believe he's already one... It seems like just yesterday that I had him! I guess it's time for another😉 ha he is so much fun and brings us so much joy... We sure love him! Life is amazing!!

White coat shenanigans and more!

This month has flown by and has been one of my very favorite months ever!! Tyler took his dental boards the beginning of the month and passed, so he has been so much more free and able to hang out a lot!! Then Tyler had his white coat ceremony and it was so awesome... I'm so proud of all of his hard work! I have my first dental appt w him on Tuesday... It's kind of a weird thought that my husband is going to be my dentist! Ha My awesome mother & father in law came to visit us for Tyler's white coat ceremony and it was soooo fun and special to have them here... We love them and miss them!! 

Oliver is 10 months old now and he started crawling yesterday!! Before that he got around pretty well by scooting on his bum and doing other weird things, but now he's a crawler! He's also a pro at pulling himself up on things and walking while holding onto it. He still is a food lover and social bug! He is SOOO happy and smiley all the time, he is very fun! We love him so much ❤️

We also had a few beach days and Oliver was able to nap for a whopping 15 mins there:) ha

Two of my fave people... My baby boy and my JoAnna❤️ we went to a beautiful wedding last night and this was at the reception!

I love him and think he's so handsome and perfect... I'm a lucky mom!! Life is amazing!!

Oliver turned 9 months old this month and I can hardly believe it!! Time is flying by and I am in a bit of denial that my baby will be 1 in a little over 2 months... I have very mixed emotions about this! Ha he is so sweet and fun, I feel so blessed and lucky every day to be his mom! The long 5 year wait of trying to have him was worth it every second, and I have almost forgotten the pain of waiting because he has made up for it all❤️ I can't even explain the joy he brings to Tyler and my life... We just stare at him and laugh with him and hold him and play w him ALL day! It's the best:) he goes to bed around 7PM, and when Tyler and I are getting ready to go to bed, we always go into his room to just stare at him more and give him more kisses before we go to bed. It's funny how you kind of miss them when they're sleeping:) ha 

Buddy boy is pulling himself up on things now, which just started this week... He's still getting the hang of it, but does very well:) he also said "hi dada" and "mama" and "baba" (bottle)... It's not super consistent, and he's only said it a couple times, so maybe it's just him babbling and accidentally making words... But I think he's smart👍  he is such a smiley and happy baby if he's being played with and held. He loves to eat but only if he feeds himself... I can no longer feed him much cause he wants to be independent!  He pretty much likes/eats all food!:) he's definitely not picky! He sleeps almost through the night... He goes to bed at 7-730 and wakes up around 5 for a bottle, then sleeps after that till about 630! It's perfect:) 

He's so social and LOVES to get out of the house and do stuff and be around people. However, he only wants to be held my me... Total momma's boy right now! He is so curious and wants to explore everything! He can't sit still for longer than 5 seconds or less, and he is very noisy! He makes very loud shrieks! (Both happy and sad ones)! Ha 

Tyler is done w his 2nd year of school, halfway there!! He has his white coat ceremony in a couple of weeks and I'm very proud of him! His parents are coming out for it, I cannot wait to see them!! Life is great for us:)

Well, Oliver officially has two teeth!! His two bottom middle teeth both came in about 2 weeks ago and he handled it like a champ! He's a tough little cookie😉

(You can kind of see them here... They're through a lot more now)...

He is so fun and keeps me entertained every day... I am so lucky to be his mom! He celebrated his first Easter this year, and he loved his new stuff...

He also watched general conference with us, although he really was just a huge distraction:) ha

Me and him have the best walks together, and he loves to make a pit stop at the park to swing!!

He's so cute I usually just take pics of him all day, he loves it❤️ including when he sleeps...yes, I'm that mom!:) 

(He likes to eat his blanket while he sleeps... It's kinda weird... Ha)

He won't stay off his tummy when I put him down to sleep... He loves to sleep that way!😁

He's still not crawling, and I think that's my fault cause I hold him 24/7 and don't like to put him down! But he's starting to get close... We'll see:) 

I'm hoping he learns to like the pool more and more, cause I want to be there and the beach a lot this summer :) Tyler is taking finals for the next week or two, and then he's done with the semester!! I can't wait:) everything is going great for us here, and we are so lucky to have a sweet baby boy, wonderful family, a nice place to live while we're not by family, and amazing friends who make it so fun to be here!!
