I love Pinterest!:)

I have been trying to make different meals that we haven't had before so that we can have more variety, and I've been using Pinterest or some recipe books for helpful ideas:) we have honestly liked everything I've made lately, but here are a few of the yummiest...

Broccoli veggie egg pitas

Lemon garlic chicken with red potatoes and green beans

Enchilada pasta casserole

Then just some snacks/treats, like these...

Homemade fresh salsa

Lemon zucchini bread

Chocolate PB mug cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce

All of these were super yummy and worth a try:) I love cooking, but I really LOVE baking! I wish I had more ppl around to share treats with so I could make them more, but for now I avoid making much of them since I'm pretty much the only person to eat them (Ty doesn't really like sweets that much... Crazy, I know!!) but yesterday I did make pistachio pudding muddy buddies and those are very delightful tasting:) ha

Welcome to the world little Saydee Jo!!

I have a new niece!! My sister Aubree had her baby last night at 11:31pm and she is absolutely perfect!! She weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20.5 inches long... Aubree said she is a really good baby and sleeps a lot:) her name is perfect too, Saydee Jo!.. I cannot wait to get to Idaho in 3 weeks for a visit with family and friends, and to meet my little Saydee and see my brother Andy who has been home from his mission for 3 months and I still haven't seen him! Here are some pics of the little doll....

Isn't she perfect?!.. Congrats to Aubree and Austin, you guys will be great parents:)

This week I opened my little package of happiness that I got in the mail and I'm in love... I got a new swim suit:)

And I also put my vinyl lettering onto my wall finally! My husbands boss' wife has a cricket and I told her what saying I wanted and she made it for me... She's sweet:) here it is...

Well that's the latest and were still doing great here in NC!:) we're always open to visitors out here if any family or friends need a get away... We promise we will have a blast:) ha

NC is my new home!! :)

So...... Our new news is that we aren't coming back to Idaho!! We are officially staying in North Carolina:) Tyler is going to continue working for Moxie Pest Control as a technician... This was him his first day as a tech!! So cute:)

And for me.... I got a job at Rex UNC hospital in the PACU!!! I absolutely love it and the people I work with are awesome:) I am almost done with my orientation and cannot wait to be working off of orientation:) ha

We are going to stay in our apartment complex that we have been living in, and I'm happy about that cause its real nice!;) and were flying back to Idaho October 3 for like 10 days to hang out and get all of our stuff to bring out here!! We are very excited about our new adventure!:) 

Here are a few pics from our fishing trip a couple weeks ago!! So fun:) and the boys were so competitive with each other while they were fishing, it was funny!!

We also did a dancing class which was really fun... Ty was so funny!!

5 years of marital bliss!!:)

Last Friday, August 9, was our 5 year anniversary!! I cannot believe how fast time has flown by:) I fall more and more in love with Tyler EVeRY day and could not have found a more perfect match for me!! For our anniversary we went to a couple of different  beaches here in NC... We went to wrightsville beach and Carolina beach:) they were both beautiful and very enjoyable! We had a great weekend there! Here are a few pics from the weekend...

The second nights restaurant was amazingly yummy as well! It was called San Felipe's and Ty got that MASSIVE steak burrito and I got a huge taco salad!

This was at wrightsville beach! It was such perfect weather all weekend:)

So that sums up our wonderful celebration of five years of marriage!! And also between dating and marriage years, this year is 9!! Wow!! Best decision I have made!.. Life is great and I will be posting again soon about our latest adventures and new news!! (And no I'm not pregnant so don't think that's the news... I only wish that was it)!! Ha

No more studying... For now!:)

Tyler took his DAT (test to apply for dental schools) and he did really well!! We were so happy about that because he has been studying non stop for the past 6-7 weeks and we're SO over it!!! YAY for no more studying until he actually starts dental school:) ha but to celebrate we went to a yummy place called lonestar steakhouse and then walked around some stores. It was a good time!..

Last night we went on a date night with our friends out here... We all went to the Raleigh temple for a temple session and then went out to yummy Kilwins for ice cream!! I seriously could live off of that stuff:) the temple here is really pretty but it's super small!!! I think it's the smallest LDS temple. Still beautiful, of course!

We had to run some errands at Walmart after and I decided to check my blood pressure and heart rate on the machine to see how healthy I am!. Ha I think I may live till im 100... NOOO!!!

I haven't been super adventurous with new meals this past week, but I did make yummy tomato basil parmesan soup, which is one of mine and Ty's favorites:) 

Life is perfect right now and we are loving where we are at!! I hope you have a fabulous Sunday!:)

Painting class!!

Last night the Moxie wives did a group painting class at a place here in Raleigh called Artistic Abandon... It was so much fun!! We start out with just a blank white canvas and the teacher teaches us all how to do a painting!

Last week my little niece, Navy, got blessed... We weren't able to be there, but we got pics of her and she is too stinking cute!! And then we were able to face time w navy, zoee, and Mindee!! It was so fun to see and talk w them:)

Last weekend we went on a date night with some of our good friends to the yummiest ice cream/fudge/chocolate shop ever!! It's called kilwins and it is seriously amazing:) we also went to five guys and Ty loved it!

And last but not least... I have tried making more yummy meals lately and some of my top faves have been the following:

Cheesy spaghetti squash

Stuffed Zucchini

Life is going great and I love North Carolina:) if anyone wants to visit me I would love the company!! Have a great day!

Fourth of July Excitement!! :)

We had a great day on the Fourth of July celebrating our independence!!:) to start it out, we slept in a little (which for me means sleeping till 730-8 if I'm lucky)! Ha then I went and laid out by the pool for a bit, which is always amazing!..

That afternoon we went to a park with a bunch of friends for a BBQ and played games there like beach volleyball, basketball, etc. And there was even an ice cream van that came during our picnic like the little ice cream trucks that we used to get all excited about as a kid!:) Ty was pretty excited still!!

That night we went to downtown Raleigh for a firework show w some friends and it was so fun! We had glow in the dark glasses too... How neat is that?!:) ha

And the best part of the whole day was face timing as my brother got home from his mission!! He was supposed to get home on the 3rd of July, but his flight was delayed and he didn't get home till the 4th! Of course I would have loved to be there when he got home and I still haven't seen him, but it was awesome that I was at the airport via FaceTime and I have gotten to talk to him on the phone and texting! He is doing so good and looks so great! 

This last pic is the day after he got home and he was eating yummy harper's homemade bread after two years of not havin it! He also loved having milk again:)

Anyways... Life has been great and our 4th of July was wonderful:) I'm excited for this week to have more fun!!! Have a great week...
