Spring Break in Orlando!

Ty had spring break last week, and it was seriously my favorite week of the year so far!! We decided to stay at a resort in Orlando, and it was soooo much fun! It was in the perfect location in Orlando (about 1.5 miles from sea world/2 miles from disneyworld)... So we never had to go far!:) we went to a beautiful park, checked out Disney springs, went to some natural springs, hung out at the resort and laid out/played in the pool, went to sea world, ate lots of yummy food, visited friends in Daytona and my sister in Orlando, and showed Oliver what vacation is:) he loved it... Most of the time:) ha

He knows how to relax!! He also knows how to take up a whole king bed!! Ha

It was pretty hot, his stroller fan helped him stay a little cooler... But he wanted to just grab it and eat it the whole time!

Oliver slept quite a bit while we did what we wanted to:) he was a great sport!!

Sea world was super amazing, loved the dolphin show, killer whale show, and sea lion show!! Ty spent the sea lion show in the "sleeping babies" section w Oliver!:)

It was sad to come back to real life and see our vacation end, but it was so fun and lots of great memories were made!!

Birthdays everywhere this month!!

February is one of my very favorite months, because it is my birthday, Tyler's birthday, and Oliver's half birthday!!! And of course Valentine's Day too:) we get lots of celebrating and fun in February!! 

Tyler spoiled me for my birthday, along with my wonderful friends and family!;) My day started with a massage at a beautiful spa, then lunch with my awesome friends... Followed by shopping... Then dinner w Tyler, Oliver, and my bestest friend JoAnna and Thorn! After that we had friends over for cake/ice cream and talked a lot!! My cake was amazing... JoAnna made me the cake that I had been dreaming of, and it was on point!!:)

For Ty's birthday he studied all day for a test on his new iMac home computer I got him for his bday!!:) so we celebrated that weekend by going to breakfast Saturday morning and eating Oreo blueberry pancakes!! Then dinner that night w friends at a yummy BBQ place, then I made him his favorite ice cream cake that he wants every year:) 

Oliver has started to eat some baby food now that he's old enough and he loves it!! He's not very into the rice and oat cereal, but he really loves fruits and veggies:) he's so fun... He sits up on his own now (I have to stay close by though cause he topples over still sometimes), and he's just started to "scoot" when he's on his tummy! It's so cute... Probably not too long before he's crawling!!! He laughs all the time, and he does this funny little fake laugh that is too cute❤️ he loves his dad to play with him, and he's kind of obsessed w me right now... If I'm not in the room when he's w anyone else then he looks for me everywhere and will cry if he can't find me! Cute that he loves me so much, but also rough that I can't get out much without him:) ha I love it though!!! We still go on lots of walks, and he usually likes it a lot... But some days he makes me carry him halfway through our walk and hes a little heavy!:) ha

He also made his grandmas some valentines… They were very cute! :-)

The other night Tyler watched Oliver while I went and had a girls night. That consisted of facials and watching a chick flick! And lots of yummy snacks:) We had a blast!

It has been a wonderful month, and it is my favorite time ever with Oliver! He is so fun :-) now we just need to get him to sleep through the night! :-) Ha ha

Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016!

So we are finally back home from our long 5 week visit with family for the holidays... We had a wonderful time! The only crappy part of the whole trip was that poor little Oliver got RSV... It was awful and miserable😪 he was REALLY REALLY sick... We had to do breathing treatments with him for about 2 weeks and had to monitor his oxygen levels and everything! It was so scary, and he hated it! But he was still a happy, sweet little guy through it all... He's a trooper!!

The last weekend of our trip we had a big family reunion that was seriously a BLAST!!!!! It was in bear lake, and we had a huge lodge for our family to stay in. There was kareoking, sledding/snow mobiling, crafts, swimming/swim meet, lots of food, and lots of good company to talk and relax with!! We got a huge family picture and all got matching shirts that had each family color coordinated:)

Since we've been back home, we have spent quite a bit of time outside... We were missing being outdoors while we were out of town in the -25 degree weather! Ha but since we've been back here, the weather has been beautiful (mostly in the 60's), so we've been bundling up and going on walks, etc!

We also bought a new car... Our other car got flooded/totaled in October when the flooding happened here... It was a little depressing, but we like the new car so far:) 

Tyler just got back from a dental convention that he was at all weekend... It was so nice to have him get home, we missed him! I'm glad I have sweet Ollie to keep me lots of company though!:)

Anyways, we are having a great year so far! We love Oliver so much and we are so lucky to have him in our family! I feel so blessed that I have such wonderful family and friends... And such a wonderful husband and son!! I don't know what I did to get so lucky, but I know how blessed I feel:) happy new year, and hopefully it's the best yet!🎉

There's no place like home for the holidays!!

We have been visiting family for the past few weeks and it has been so wonderful!!! Christmas was one of my favorite ones ever with sweet little Oliver and all of our family with us:) Oliver has loved getting to know his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. He also rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time, and laughed a lot! He's so cute!! We love him❤️

Our time at home w family has been wonderful and we have enjoyed it so much... 2015 has been one of the best years of my life, here's to 2016 being just as wonderful!!:) happy new year!!!
