Anyways... Wednesday afternoon the snow started coming down HARD and FAST around 12 or 1, and everyone started worrying and leaving their work to go home at the same time, so with the mix of the weather and all of the million ppl on the road going home, the highways were gridlocked and it was bad! It took Tyler 4 hours to drive home 15-20 miles, which usually takes him 30 mins tops. People were running out of gas and abandoning their cars in the middle of the road. There were wrecks and slide offs everywhere... It was dangerous!!
Since I work at one of the hospitals, they were hesitant to let staff leave in case the next shift couldn't make it and stuff. So basically they had us stay at the hospital, and I was there for 30 hours straight before I got to leave.... I got to sleep on a stretcher for a little while at least, but it was horribly uncomfortable!!
Sleepover:) ha
Me and my friend Kali at work the day after the storm!
Anyways, that was an interesting event for Ty and I to experience and we hope we don't have that happen again!! Ha
Have a great weekend and stay warm and safe!
